To the USTMAAA/USTMAAAF Family,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generous and timely help during the torrential monsoon rains and severe flooding of August 17, 2026.
As the rains poured relentlessly and the floodwaters rose, many of our staff, employees, and even some students were unable to go home and had to remain within the University and Hospital. In that difficult and unexpected situation, one of our most immediate concerns was how to provide food for those who were stranded.
Your generosity became a blessing at precisely the moment when it was needed most. Because of your financial assistance, we were able to provide food provisions and relief to those who were trapped by the floods. What you gave was not simply food—it was comfort, care, and the assurance that they were not alone in the midst of a difficult night.
This is the spirit of the UST community—when one is in need, we come together; when our people are stranded, we make sure they are cared for. Your generosity is a beautiful expression of the enduring bond that connects Thomasians across generations.
To the USTMAAA/USTMAAAF family, thank you for remembering your alma mater and for extending your generosity to our people when they needed it most. May the Lord bless you abundantly and return your kindness a hundredfold. May He continue to bless your lives, your families, and the good that you continue to do for others.

Thank you for your generosity in supporting the projects of the USTMAAA Foundation. Your gift supports the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, UST Hospital Clinical Division and its indigent patients. As an ENDOWMENT FUND, your donation remains intact. Only interest income is used to fund various projects, such as the St. Martin’ De Porres Indigency Trust Fund that supports the indigent needs of all the UST Hospital’s various departments on a monthly basis, ensuring the legacy of your support for years to come, even beyond our lifetime.
For donations of $25,000 and up, you or your designee is entitled to a permanent seat on the USTMAAA Foundation Board.

In-house Medical / Surgical Mission
These annual medical, surgical, dental missions, now on its 4th, provide indigent patients with essential services, including free medications, consultations, and surgeries.
St. Martin De Porres Indigency Trust Fund
This fund offers year-round financial assistance to indigent inpatients and outpatients of all departments at UST Hospital Clinical Division.
Medical Equipment Acquisitions
Thanks to supportive alumni classes, we have procured new and vital medical equipment, such as video laryngoscopes, three echocardiography machines, cardiac monitors, a Lap Tower, a portable Samsung X-ray GM85, cardiac catheterization equipment, and many more.
Saint Dominic Scholarship Program
This program supports students facing financial challenges, ensuring they have the resources to succeed. The 2025 Board Topnotcher, Dr. Kharam Molbog, was a recipient of this program.
Class Legacy
An invitation for each class to establish their Class Legacy and indicate their designated recipient fund.
Endowment Fund
A general perpetual fund of the of USTMAAA Foundation, managed professionally, that supports none-designated fund category, including all of the various funds above and more, like the disaster fund, etc.
Research Fund
Teaching hospitals like USTH face severe shortages in medical research funding and other resources to conduct and publish vital studies at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery that could yield life-saving breakthroughs for millions. We have been supporting research like the annual subsidy for the JMUST (Journal of Medicine), among others.
Disaster Relief Fund
We are committed to helping out our fellow countrymen in times of disaster/calamity like the recent earthquakes, series of typhoons, and flooding.
